To force hyacinths: put them on the vase with water and then refrigerate until you see at least 3-4″ of root growth.

Fondant Hyacinth (also known as ‘Pink Frosting’) is a soft, clear shade of pink. It performs well from cold to warm zones. If you’d like to try hyacinths in your warm area garden, you could test with Fondant as it performs better than most under warm conditions.
