M. Neglectum, also known as Blue Bottle or Southern Grape Hyacinth, have a bluish-purple, almost black cast to them. They are prolific naturalizers and unlike most bulbs will come back from seed. These are small bulbs that can dry out easily, so be sure to plant promptly. They do well in the South.
